The 66 Kicks and Friends present The Hootenanny. Each month the full cast of the Kicks, plus some of their favorite Black Cat Improv Comedy players, come together for this two act “Armando” style show.  Every show, a different special guest monologist provides personal stories to inspire the ensemble to instantly create scenes & characters, all connected through fun and engaging narratives.

The Hootenanny is a modern, local adaptation of Chicago’s longest running comedy show: The Armando Diaz Theatrical Experience, Movement & Hootenanny. Known in some circles as “The Demon” or “Deconstruction Monologue”, this long-form game provides an interesting conversation between our guest and the cast, which often leads to hilarious and memorable nights.

Buckle up, this will be a HOOT!
